The Food Bowl festival will commence on Friday, September 20, from 8-11 PM (with VIP entry at 7 PM). The evening will begin with an awards presentation hosted by the LA Times Food team, honoring the prestigious Restaurant of the Year, Baroo, and the Gold Award recipient, Mariscos Jalisco. VIP ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to savor special bites from these acclaimed establishments before the general admission opens.The LA Times Food Stage will be the epicenter of culinary entertainment, featuring talks, demonstrations, and cookbook signings by award-winning chefs and social media food sensations. Attendees can look forward to insightful sessions with Josh Scherer, author of "The Mythical Cookbook," and Tue Nguyen, creator of "Di An." The VIP lounge will offer an elevated experience, with exclusive tastings from Michelin-starred chef Jordan Kahn of Meteora and James Beard Award-winning chef Dave Beran of Pasjoli. The excitement continues on Saturday, September 21, from 7-10 PM (with VIP entry at 6 PM). Attendees can savor unlimited tastings from over 40 renowned restaurants, while enjoying demonstrations and cookbook signings by celebrity guests such as Tamron Hall, Lish Steiling, author of "A Confident Cook," and Owen Han, author of "Stacked: The Art of the Perfect Sandwich."The festival will also feature a live cooking demonstration by William Tew and Adrienne Borlongan, presented by Cathay Pacific and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, showcasing the "Wanderlust Creamery Presents: The World of Ice Cream" experience.VIP guests will have the privilege of sampling exclusive bites from Michelin-starred chef Jon Yao of Kato and James Beard Award-winning chef Justin Pichetrungsi of Anajak Thai.
